BOARD OF HEALTH
MINUTES OF MEETING OF APRIL 29, 1981
The Meeting was called to order at 7:45 p.m. after brief discussion as
County Commissioner's Meeting, then moved to Court Room. Present were Acting
Chairman Donald Oliver, Selectmen J. Gardner, B. Grossman. Absent were
Chairman Holdgate and Selectman Young.
Minutes of the Meeting of April 22 were accepted as typed, and the reading
of same waived on a motion by Mr. Gardner and seconded by Mr. Grossman so
voted 3-0.
Letter from Health Inspector, Richard Ray requesting permission to close the
Health Inspectors Office April 30, in order that he may attend the monthly meet ng
of the Cape & Islands EMS Board of Directors of which he is a member. Mr.
Gardner made a motion to approve, seconded by Mr. Grossman, so voted 3-0.
Letter from Hazardous Waste Officer requesting permission that the Hazardous
Waste Officer to attend a four (4) day course re: Oil Spill Control Course on
May 11th through the 14th. His office would be closed for the four days. Mr.
Oliver asked Would he be available for an emergency situation should one arise.
Mr. Ray said yes. Mr. Oliver stated that he had no objection. A motion to
approve was made by Nr. Gardner, seconded by ~1r. Grossman, so voted 3-0.
There being no further business a motion was made by Mr. Gardner to adjourn at
7:48, seconded by Mr. Grossman, so voted 3-0.
