BOARD OF HEALTH
Minutes of Meeting of April 9, 1981
The Meeting was called to order at 7:42 p.m. by the Chairman. Those present
were Chairman Holdgate, Selectmen Gardner, Grossman aRa ylLllg.,....cI olivcA,.
Mr. Gardner made a motion to approve the minutes of the meeting of April 1,
1981 and waive the reading thereof. Mr. Oliver seconded, so voted 3-0.
Recommendation of Richard L. Ray, Health Inspector on proposed 6 lot sub-
division of Marsha Everette at Eel Point Road was presented for approval.
Mr. Gardner made a motion to approve, Mr. Oliver seconded, so voted 3-0.
Recommendation of Richard L. Ray, Health Inspector on proposed 2 lot sub-
division of R. Bamber & C. Sjolund on Wauwinet Avenue, off Surfside Road
was presented for approval. Mr. Gardner made a motion to approve, Mr. Oliver
seconded, so voted 3-0.
Mr. Holdgate recognized Mrs. Jackie Harris from the floor. Mrs. Harris
addressed the Board on the possibility of a take-out pizza place opening
at Valero's sharpening shop. Mrs. Harris requested a written report from
Chief Hunter on account of the possibility of Spruce Street becoming a
danger area for vehicles and pedestrians and for people living in the area.

Mr. Gardner question/whether under the zoning by-laws off-street parking
must be provided for customers. After discussion, Mr. Oliver made a motion
to refer this problem to the Traffic Safety Study Committee for study and
also recommended that the Zoning Officer, Health Inspector and Fire Chief
check the problem out. Mr. Gardner seconded, so voted 3-0.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:48 on motion made by Mr. Gardner, seconded by
Mr. Oliver, so voted 3-0.
