BOARD OF HEALTH
Minutes of Meeting of December 30, 1980
This meeting commenced at 7:32 PM. Chairman Holdgate, Selectmen Young, Knott an
Oliver were present. Selectman Gardner was absent.
Minutes of the Board of Health Meeting of December 23, 1980 were accepted as
typed and reading of the same was waived on motion by Mr. Young, seconded by Mr.
Knott, so voted 3-0.
MASSACHUSETTS ASSOCIATION OF LAND SURVEYORS AND CIVIL ENGINEERS INC., Conferenc
Member, Mark T. Donohoe, P. E., letter read wherein he advises that a conferenc
has been formed to determine if revisions should be made to TITLE 5 of the Stat
Environmental Code (subsurface sewage disposal). The Conference has decided tha
I a first step, to compile all existing BOARD OF HEALTH REGULATIONS so that areas
, of difference with TITLE 5 could be determined and perhaps serve as a guide for
revisions. It is desired that the Board send a copy of its regulations
I to the address or if none, so indicate.(forms attached). Health Inspector Richa
Ray said he has not received a copy of that letter but that if the Board would
have it forwarded to his office he would be glad to take care of it. Mr. Oliver
motioned that this letter be forwarded to Richard Ray's office, seconded by Mr.
Knott, so voted 3-0.
PROPOSED THREE LOT SUBDIVISION/LORRAINE H. BARSTOW/OFF EEL POINT ROAD: Health
Inspector Richard Ray;s Report was read wherein he recommended that all three 1 s
are acceptable for septic system design offering no health hazards to the local
environment. That 11 lots be re-pierced when more definitive dwelling locations,
are submitted. Mr. Young recommended that the recommendations of the Health '
! Officer be accepted, seconded by Mr. Knott, so voted 3-0.
There being no further business before the Board of Health, a motion to adjourn
at 7:35PM was made by Mr. Knott, seconded by Mr. Oliver, so voted 3-0.
