BOARD OF HEALTH
Minutes of Meeting of October 22, 1980
This regularly scheduled meeting commenced at 7:32 PM. All members were present.
Minutes of the Meeting of October 15, 1980 were accepted as typed and reading of
the same were waived on a motion by Mr. Young, seconded by Mr. Knott, so voted
4-0.
PROPOSED 6 LOT SUBDIVISION/PETER HALLOWELL, OFF MADAKET ROAD: Health Inspector
Richard Ray's Report read wherein he noted the following observations: Lots 10,
11 and 13 are acceptable for septic system design with no stipulations. Lot 12:
attention must be paid to the placement of the leach facility because of elevate
ground water (trenches preferred). Lots 14 and 15: These Lots are acceptable for
septic system design with leach trenches used as the preferred design due to hig
ground water. Care must be paid to the placement of a system on Lot 14 as sectio s
of this Lot fall under the jurisdiction of the Conservation Commission.
Mr. Young motioned that the recommendations of the Health Officer be accepted,
seconded by Mr. Gardner, so voted 4-0.
There being no further business before the Board of Health. a motion to adjourn t
7;35PM was made by Mr. Knott, seconded by Mr. Gardner, so voted 4-0.
