BOARD OF HEALTH
Minutes of Meeting of August 6, 1980
The regular Meeting of the Board of Health commenced at 7:34 PM. All members wer
present. Minutes of the Meeting of July 30, 1980, were accepted as typed and
reading of the same was waived on a motion by Mr. Young, seconded by Mr. Knott,
so voted 4-0.
There were no reports from Health Officer Richard Ray this week.
Chairman Holdgate suggested that Main Street be considered a public health hazar
because of animal droppings, human waste, etc. and the fact that Nantucket has n t
had amount of rain. Mr. Young motioned that the Fire Department be asked to hose
down at 11:00 PM tonite and that the Wannacomet Water Company be notified, secon ed
by Mr. Oliver, so voted 4-0.
There being no further business before the Board, a motion to adjourn as Board 0
Health at 7:35 Pm was made by Mr. Knott, seconded by Mr. Gardner, so voted 4-0.
