The Board of Health Meeting opened at 7:30 PM. All members were present. l
SUBDIVISION OF SYLVIA HOWARD, JAMES COOPER AND PAUL BIXBY: Proposed seven lot !
subdivision on South Shore Road, Surfide Road.presented. Health Officer Richard I
Ray's recomnendations read consisting of the following: That Lot One, due to itsl
dimensions, 1236.69 feet by one foot, must be considered unsuitable for septic I
system design and therefore be declared unbui1dab1e. Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7: !
with summation of all percu1ation data, these lots have been found to be accept-
able for septic system design and offer no health hazards. These lots should be
re-percu1ated when more definitive building locations are selected. Motion was
made by ~1r. Ho1dgate to accept the recommendations of the Health Officer, second d
by Mr. Gardner, so voted 4-0.
SUBDIVISION OF STURGIS PINES REALTY TRUST, ROGER A. YOUNG, TRUSTEE: Proposed fou
lot subdivision off Old South Road presented to Board. Health Officer Richard Ra 's
recomnendations read consisting of the following: Lot One: This lot has a pre-
existing septic system installed on the lot to service a multi-lane bowling a11e .
This septic system is functioning in a normal manner. Lots 2, 3 and 4: Due to
uniform soil conditions, no ground water at 11 feet and perc rates of two minute
or less. These lots have been deemed suitable for septic system design. Lots 3
and 4 should be re-pierced when more definitive building locations are chosen.
Mr. Ho1dgate motioned that the recorrmendations of the Health Officer be accepted
seconded by Mr. Gardner, so voted 3-0. Mr. Young abstained.

at 7:34 PM, seconded by Mr. Young, so voted 4-0.
