Mr. Holdgate notioned to approve the minutes of the meeting of July 25, 1979, and to waive reading of the same. Seconded by Mr. Gardner, so voted 3-0. LEI'I'ER/DR.SIEBERr/TCMENEVERSPROPOSEDSUB";'DIVISIOO: Letter read wherein Dr. Siebert requested the Board to contact the Mass. State Health DepartIIent to provide a qualified State Sanitary Engineer am a Malical Epidaniologist to rule out possibility of potential contamination if the proposed sub-divisian of Cllt Islands International adjacent to Tan NeveJ:S Pond is allOlft.ei. Mr. Gardner notioned that this be referred to Health Inspector Richard Ray for his ccmnent and report, seconded by Mr. Knott, so voted 3-0. TICKS;'.BABECSIS: Mrs. Derrick, Madaket lOad, addressal the Board. She asked about rumors of recent cases of Babeosis on the Islan:l am said that Dr. Dam::nl did not sean to have any statistics. Mr. Gardner suggested that the roc (Atlanta" GA) are still researching the Tick and that she could check with the Health Officer reganling statistics.
