BOARD OF HEALTH
MINUTES OF THE MEEl'nm OF July 25, 1973
VARIANCES
Request received from Schofield Brothers for a variance for Frank F. Sylvia, Jr.
in regard to his sewage disposal system. There was an evaluation by Gary Hess,
and letter from Paul Ander9on, District Sanitary Engineer, noting that the
system should be at least 1'~ away from the neighboring pond. After discussion,
Board felt Mr. Sylvia had sufficient land to install proper system without being
granted a variance, and it was denied.
Variance also requested by Schofield Brothers, Inc. for Daniel G. Wheeler for a
sewage disposal system. Because of the small parcel of land, the Board felt
there was no solution to the problem except to have Mr. Wheeler raise his house
and elevate the system. Letter to be sent to Mr. Wheeler in this regard.
