:MORA'l'ORIUM -SURFSIDE AND T(J{ NEVERS AREA
!Dr. Grant Stone asked the Board if the Surfside and Tom Nevers area could be
studied in regard to water quality and a moratorium placed on these areas until
such study could be made. Dr. Stone stated that on December 17, 19'70 the
Planning Board had written the Board of Selectmen that the ground water might be
in danger of contamination and Tibbetts Erlgineering of New Bedford was to have
made percolation tests. '
