AIR POLLUTION
Mr. Jones reported on the meeting he attended at Barnstable regarding air
pollution. He stated it was primarily a review of existing'regulaticms. Ways
to get permission by applying for a variance were discussed, but there are draw-
backs to this and the process is involved.
GLASSER SUBDIVISION
Mr. Abraham Glasser addressed the Board regarding his subdivision at Fat Fire
Springs, which is due to be heard on April 18th. He stated he had voluntarily
roceeded with percolation tests on'all lots, with results evaluated by the DPW.
iIf anything appeared to be negative, he re(J.uested that he be told prior to the
'lUpcoming hearing so he could make adjustments if necessary. A letter from
pary Hess attested to the fact that the percolation tests appeared satisfactorY',
Ibut that lots 62 and 63 were to have a limited hydrological study, as they are
~ounded on three sides by saltmarsh. Mr. Glasser was amenable to having this
I~one. He said also that the lacking topographical data would be furnished as
re(J.uired.
