ADDENDUM A
Beale Application - 4 Mooer' s Avenue
The Applicants request a special permit pursuant to Section 139-33 of the
Nantucket Zoning By-law to alter the cottage on their property at 4 Mooer's
A venue as shown on the attached elevation drawings and site plan. The existing
cottage is situated within the required five foot rear and side yard setback as
shown on the enclosed 1993 Mortgage Inspection Plan prepared by Blackwell &
Associates. In addition, the existing cottage is less than 12 feet from the primary
dwelling on the property. The proposed renovation will increase the height of
this validly pre-existing, non-conforming cottage from 16' 3" to 23' 8" within the
setback area and extend the deck that runs between the buildings within the
setback, but no closer to the northern property line than the existing structure.
