The Minutes of the 12/4 and 12/19 meetings were unanimously approved as written. A letter was read from Nantucket Holding Company to lease the Airport parking lot. After considerable discussion, the Commission requested Mr. Holdgate to contact the Hyannis Airport Manager for the details of their parking lot leasing and to speak with. Mr. John Stackpole for more detail. They also requested a cost benefit analysis, comparing leasing the lot versus maintain- ing it ourselves. This will be discussed at another meeting. After reading a letter from Seabird Air Taxi, the Commission requested the usual letter be sent to them requesting copies of their insurance, financial statement, license, etc. The Hoyle, Tanner & Associates letter was read on the proposed, revised, Delta property plan. After reviewing the plan, Mr. Holdgate stated he would discuss with HTA relocating some of the proposed tenants and discuss in more detail the theory of rents vs. development. Mr. Holdgate informed the Commission that Sun Transportation would like to extend the present road another 400! feet, which is on Airport property. On a motion by Commissioner Beach, seconded by Commissioner Giffin, it was unanimously voted to accept the proposal to allow Sun to finish the roadway under the original conditions. Commissioner Giffin brought up for discussion that Julie Young has contacted Senator MacLean, who has contacted MAC, who proposed to address our Commission on interim noise regulations while the Part 150 study is being done. The Commission felt copies of these letters be sent to HMMH, along with a letter stating that until the study is completed, no changes in the traffic pattern should be made. MAC will be copied on this letter. Page 1 of 2 MEETING DECEMBER 30, 1985 continued On a motion by Commissioner Beach, seconded by Commissioner Giffin, it was unanimously voted the Commission will notify all pilots that mogas is prohibited at our Airport. Mr. Holdgate was requested to send copies to all based aircraft and tie-down owners, as well as have it posted on the Airport bulletin board. On a motion by Commissioner Craig, seconded by Commissioner Beach, it was unanimously voted to approve the 1986-87 Airport budget as presented. A letter was read from Attorney Landau, representing the Low's, who would like the Airport to purchase 40! acres of land in the approach to Runway 24. After some discussion, it was agreed that at this time the Airport could not fund such a purchase on its own and that Mr. Holdgate should write Mr. Landau of this decision. On a motion by Commissioner Craig, seconded by Commissioner Beach, it was unanimously voted to fence the west side of our entrance road to Old South Road, along the property formerly owned by the Rock's. Linda True's job description was reviewed by the Commission and it was approved as presented with an increase not to exceed 22~ per hour. Any additional responsibilities will be left up to the Manager, who was also requested to set her job title and classi- fication. The Commission discussed Hr. Holdgate's retirement and felt they should draw up specifications and qualifications for the Manager's position and advertise it as soon as possible. The next meeting will be held January 16, which will include the preconstruction conferences with both contractors.
