Mr. Anthony Doc'ca was granted ~a'renewal of his common License
victuallers license for 1949. He was also granted per-
mission to close his restaurant from December 20 to about
January l;
. Mr. Marlin Rounds~ille was granted a permit to e~ect Permit
Christmas.trees at the curbs along Main Street.
.It was voted to approve the hospital bill of Mrs.
Rhoda Stetson at Barnstable County Sanatorium in the Bill
of $108.00.

The American Legion'was granted permission to hold Dance
their New Year's Ball from lO:O0 p. m. to 2:00 a~. m. in- Perm~
stead of from 9:00 p. m. to l:O0 a. m.
,Dr. Julius Kelley of the Barnstable coUnty Sanatorium Barnstable'
requested permission to buy necessary clothing for Ossie Sanatorium
Newton. Voted that he be authorized to buy same.
'The Board voted to approve the A.'D. C. appropriation A. D. C.
for Mrs. Allen Renaud. ~
. Mr. John Roder~Guez requested the Board t0~ place a Request
street light in fron~.of ~is residence on Surfside Road. for light~-
It was voted to inspect same. '~
The Department of Corporations and Taxation sent a 1949
letter to the Board giving the 1949 bond of the Tax Bonds
Collector at $41~O00.00, and the 1949 bond of the Treas-
urer at $41,800.00.
'Mr. Walter'Pollak sent a letter to the,Board regard- Hither
ing the dredging to'be done at Hither Creek in Madaket. Creek
· Voted'to turn same over to Mr. Gilbert ~nter.'
A~l'etter was received from the Department of Public Dept.
Works~stating that if no objection was made, the~contract Public
for work to be done on South Prospect~St, Williams Lane, Works
and~Sparks Avenue would be awarded to the lowest bidder. ~
It was voted by the Board to accept the same.'
Arcommunieation was~recei~ed from his excellency, the Robert E~-
Governor,' Robert F. Bradford, stating that he was forward- Bradford
lng under separate cover a copy of a report submitted to
him by the'Adju%ant General,' Chairman of the Disaster Re-
lief Commission;
~It was voted tO hold the regular meeting on Wednesday Meeting
the 15th instead of Thursday the 16th next week, due.to a '~
previously scheduled trip to Boston on Friday the 17th.
