was defeated. ~m Due to lack of facilities his request for a
Common Victualers license was also denied.

Mr Coleman'objected to 'signs being placed on trees all over
Town and it was voted to request the Tr~e Warden to notify the
persons placing them there to remove them.
Mr. Coffin pointed Out the dangerous intersection on New
Street in Siasconset, and it was decided to inspect the corner
before taking corrective measures.
It was voted to draw the'warrant at the'next meeting.
A letter'was received from the'Dept of Public Welfare in
connection with the inspection recently made by Miss Morancy.'
A number of recommendations for the Zsland Home were discusse~
but no action taken on any of them.
A letter was received from Mr. F. D. Higgtns Jr., giving
a report on the progress made in swimming and Life Saving
classes given at the childrens beach.
It was voted to prohibi$ boys over 8 using the Womens
comfort station. ~
A complaint from Cora D. Harris on the dusty condition of
Burnell St. was tabled.
Mr. Ant°ne F. Sylvia Jr. was granted am AuCtioneer's License
It was voted to allow the Draft Board the use of bhe two
North rooms at~ Sanford house at a rental of ~A0.O0 a month, the
same as last time.
~A report from the Dept. of the ~nterior on Rodent Control
was referred to Mr. Cadrian.
The resignation of Mr. Donald Green~ as life guard at
siasconset effective Aug. ~2Vth was received.~ ·
Planned Playtime was granted a permit to h01d a ~stuffed
~animal "Pet Show" for the benefit of the .Hospital on Aug. 28th~
in the ~arm~ford grounds. ~-' ,,~
The complaint of Mrs.~ james H. Burten'sh~'w'about~the moths
in the trees on Main Street was refered to Moth Supt.
A 2 car garage license granted Robert O~Connor on Ocean Ave.

weeks vacation for ten years or more of service; It was also
voted to give Mr. I~nb three weeks vacation pay.
