decided-to ask Sanguinettt whether it was necessary for his dart ,-~
game to.be licensed and whether it was~necessa~y to issue a permit
for selling balloons at'special functions when not on public ways.
No action was taken on victualers license.
Mr. Coffin was"requeSted tO get an opinion from Mr. Sa~guinett
on gas tanks~partly blocking a public way and whether a public way
could be blocked off if indi~idual'owned both sides.
~ It was voted to have Mr. Ti~e install Signs at both ends of
Broad Creek road designated "Single Way. Also to put a "Dea~ End"
sign on old Navy road west from Tom Meyers Road.
The application of Beach HoUse in Siasconset for Taxi License
was deferred for Mr. Coleman to get legal opinion on whether a
license limited to guests of the hotel could be granted.~
.~t was Voted to request Mr. Tice to get some ~cluster reflector
for the turns on the new Airport Road.
The Secretary was requested to request sen.' stone to delay his
visit to Nantucket until the s,rmmer rush was over.
An application of Mrs Ethel B. Spencer for a gift shop at.A
Harbor View Way for 1949 could not be acted upon by this Board.'
On the request of Richard M. Lederer it was voted to request
Mr. Bloun~-to put markers on two rocks near the enterance to
Polpis Harbor.
The application of Eleanor' D. Melendy for a license to erect
a one car garage at IV Milk Street was approved.
A letter was received f~om ClaPa A~ Morris re the bad conditio
of Grove Lane, but no action was taken~
It was voted to hold the ~pecial~TownMeeting on Sept. l~th .
The meeting adjourned at 10:10 PM.
