Mr. S~nguinettilexplained the th~ Land Court Title to be
issuer to Isabel T. Mackie would have a clause granting a public
right of way.

~artwright reported that he had inspected the~ .
Mazshall~property in Siasconset and found same to be boarded up
and not accessible to anyone. Though unsightly it could not be
condemed as a fire hazzard.
Mr. CeelY reported that ~repairs to the Town Clock were
more than he could ~o and suggested having the Howard Clock Co.
make repairs. It was decides to have Mr.~Cadrian look at the
clock and see if he could make the necessary repairs.
" Mrs. Edith Mason requested that the back road to Wauwinet
be improved. The Fire Chief stated th~ it was so bad that he~
felt the fire_truck would be unable to get through it. The matter
was refere~ to Mr. Tice.
Allen Holdgate and Melvin Ray consulted with the Board
in connection with the Air cruise, it was felt that the
transportation of guests might run them into the red. It was felt
that any deficit should be split between the Selectmen. Airport
and Publicity Committee.
A permit was granted for them to conduct a raffle~
Ealter Sisson was granted a license for the sale Of soft
Drinks and Ice Cream~ .
~It w~s voted to mark the curbs for parking stalls on Main
Street and instruct the .police to see-that cars parked accordingl~

prepare Slow Signs for Lower Pleasant Street.

and Soft Drinks under name of Orange Street Grocery instead of
Liberty Bakery
Mr. Ralph~Howe was granted an InnHolders Lioehse
Tashama Farm.
Requestes for No Pauline Signs on Orange Street a~d
Gard~n~Court~ Toners, and So Beach Street were tabled.
Applications fo~ position of supt of Str~ets"were received
from Charles Grandgrade and C~arles F. Fisher and placed on file.
The A. B. C. granted permission to chsnge licenses from
J. B. Ashley III to J. B. Ashley III and Lucy C. Ashley.
Arthur M. Barrett and'Joseph X McHugh were appointed
Special Police to serve without pay.
