It was voted that a letter be written to .Mr.Ern~st Barnes Letter to'! ,, ', Mr. Berne s State B~ologist,extending an invitation to him,&ncludi~g his wife and daughter to come to Nantucket , on his vacation to be th~ guests of the Board of Selectmen~in appreciation of the work Mr.Barnes has done for the-,town in his efforts in 9deeper, a- ting with the Board to procure .shellfish seed to propo~ate the depleting areas in the harbor waters of, Nantucket.
