The hearing wss convened mt lO A.M.with 32 interested
present.Selectmen Soverino,Glidden,Coffin and Smith were Present
Chairman Soverino conducting the hearing info,e8 the people th~
the Bo~rd was ready to hear all persons that were against the
granting of the application~
Sidney Killen, of H.Killen & Sons stated that the Company'
had applied for the pe~it to conduct the gasoline station in
order to expand its business,and that be did~not consider i~ a
~etriment to the neighborhood ~s there is a chicO, eh fa~,a garag~
unit,hotels and bars in the i~e~iate vacinity.
The Chairman then called upon the remonstrants ~ to spe~k, Jame~
Glidden Arty.stated that he represented a n~ber of property Own'
ers in and around' the vacinity who wished to ba recorded as stroz
ly opposed to the granting of a license,he then hande~ the list
to 2ec'y Smith who~rea8 ~the names as follows: .
