Atto~ney'James K.Glidden infomed the Board that clifford A,
· Eddy of Siasconsetthad now in'cooperated his business as the
'"Siasconset Book Store Inc." and~.requested that the transfer of
a seasonal alcoholic beverages license,now held by'Clifford Eddy
be transferred to the incorporated firm.Mt.Eddy is general manag~
of'the new corporation owning 98 percent of the shares.It was~
voted that sfter the signatures of the Board were affixed'the
application be mailed to the State Alcoholic Beverages Control C(
Au application for appointment go the School Board to fill
the vacancy caused.by the resignation of Mrs Willard McKinstry
was received from Frank L. Hardy.
- ~ It was Voted to hold the weekly sessions of the Board~ thru
the winter months from Wednesday to Thursday nights at 8.00 P.M.
It was voted to hold a joint meeting with the School Board
on next Thursday evening at V.45 P.~,!. for the purpose of conside~
lng all applications there being 'several applicants.
Shellfish Inspector Blount presented a report from the ~'
committee appointed by the Selectmen to tnvestig'ate the feas~i~i
ity of ope$.ning the upper harbor thru Coatue BeaCh at Chatham
Bend. ~he~ Committee reco~ended~ that the opening be made there.
Town Counsel'sanguinetti was p~esent to discuss the Petitio~
Presented at a previous meeting requesting that some action be
made by the Board in regard to clearing refuse and old b0il~s
etc.from South Harbor Beach,and that steps be taken t0~aquire
the beach by the town. ~!r.Sanguinetti informed the Board that
nothing could be done by the Board as the condition at the beach
does not constitute a fire hazard or a health menace. It was vote
that the Town Counsel contact Mt.Miller owner of the property to
see if he would be willing to sell the land to the to.wn.

Colonel Lewis J.Praege~ was ~resent to confirm'his P~evious
letter to the Board ,s CommisSioner and Chairman Of the'
~osquito Control Commission that his resignation was imperative
due.to his transfer of residence from the island.Mr.Praeger,
· r~comm~nded that ~r.~itchell Todd be appointed in his place as
chairman and C0mmission~r,and the Board,so vd'ted. A rising vote,~
