Members of the School Committee met with the Board to 'elect a member of the School Committee to fill the vacancy caused by Meeting Warrant chool Comm. lected. the resignation of Mfs.Della Chapel.Those meeting in Joint sessio Ito elect the member were; I.A.Sovertno,H.P.Smith,W.D.Glidden and~ I E.R.Coffin of the Board of selectmen and Stuart B.Day.Norman P. W. Giffin and Mrs.McKinstry, the only name in nomination was Mrs.Hele} Co~gdon and she was declared elected 9y a unanamious vote.
