present aslo Mfs.Hutchinson and Mt.Griffin and Mt.Curtis
to discuss the matte~ of c~mplatnts being made by certain reside-
n~s Oh'.Bt°ad.Street,they were told that the complainants had been
requested to.sub, it's all'compla~nts, againsb the hotel management
~in Writing,and th~ far~'this had not been done.
A.L.B.Ftsher and Charles Glidden complained about'the noise
created on center Street by the mixing machine at the~Anderson's
bakery, stating that it was impossible for them'to'Sleep during
.the night hours,and if'something could be done about it. It was
voted that the secretary interview Mt.Anderson to see if the
kitchen could be closed from lO.P.M.to 6.A.M.
MfS.Morris Underhill and Gladys~Wood were Present to discuss
the layout of East LincOln Avenue,and if the residence of Mrs.
Underhill was over the street line. The Board informed Mrs
that as the bounds'of the straet layout as previously Voted bY th~
town established a 40 ft.width for the street and that her
was not over the line.
~.~ it was voted that the family shellfish permits be changed
~ ~e~present wording of the permit which says "I am a Citizen of
the town of Nantucket.'! to read^I am a property tax payer of bhe
town'of Nantucket.
It was voted that as the Water'condition was a menace to-the
Public Health'on PochiCk Street, Siasc°nset,it be referred to the
Board's Public Health Agent to be taken care of.
