It was voted to appoint a new Publicity
of-~he following lB names; wesley Fordyce, Jo~n Gardner,clark
Coffin, BUtler Chase,O~monde!ngall, Harry Rex, George Lake,
Albert Egan, Jr., Cyrus Bar~es,'Miss' Florence Ingail~Stanley Roy
and Harrison Go'man.
Mr. Tice was before the Board to confer with the members on
Highway matters.
Voted to advertise for bids fSr the sale of th~ old~'Police
cruiser. Bids to be received by the Selectmen on or bef0~e
7:30 P. ~. Dec. 19th. Any interested party can~inspect the
cruiser by'contacting Chief Mooney. The Selectmen reserve the.
right to accept'~or reject, any or all bids.
Voted to instruct Mr. Tics to draw up a new Set of sPecifica
tions 'for a truck ~to be purchased for the HighV~ay Department as
voted at the l~st Ennual Town Meeting.
. Voted to aS'Vertise for bi~s On a new half-ton pick-up truck
for the Fire Department. Bids to be'received by the Selectmen
on or before 7:30 P. M. Dec.~lgth. The Selectmen reserve the
~'right to accept or reject any or all bids.
Voted that Chief Blair be' instrdcted t0~'see th~t'the tw~
tires removed, 'or authorized to be' remov'~d, by him from the old
Service truck be returned and installed on the ~'service truck
immediately - with no charge to the Term of Nantucl~et~ The' 'tires
are known to be on a private individual's Car and one not connect
ed to the Fire DePartment.

: A letter was received from His Excellency Governor Tobin
regarding the reserve coal suPply in this community. The inf0r-
mation requested will be forwarded to the' State Fuel Administra-
tor immediate'ly. ,~
Voted to n0tify,'the civic League that if they want the so-
called "Observation tower" building on Mill Hill, to please
make arrangements to have same' removed from the property as soon
as possible or notify the Board if the building is no longer
desired by them.
