A letter was received 'from Mitchell Todd, ~r. relative :to
~a tovm buildin~ On Sidne~i~-MitJ~he'il Park, Washington Street and
requesting that it' be moved~from his property or torn down
'completely~as it now stands three feet over his p'roPerbY,"and
he wishes to continue a Partial bulkhead to the road and is
unable to do so because the building is in the ~ay. As no action
can be'taken as to. what disposal can be made of the building
until next town meeting,' ~t was voted that Mr. Glidden be a
committee of one to see Mr. Putterick as to moving same a
sufficient distance away from ~r. Todd's land.
A letter was received'from'Katherine B. tsbister~comp~aining
about the scattering of rubbish along the Madaket road'on the'
way 'to the dump and'requestinE that mo~e care be taken bY the'
truckmen in the removal of the rubbish to the dump. It was
voted that a letter be written to the bruckmen requesting that
they put a tarpaulin over their trucks when carting rubbish to
th~ dUmp.
Permit was granted Sidney W. Thurston t° erect a staging
at his residence on the corner of~BlooE and Vestai streets.
