A regular meeting of the board was held on the above date with Me~ng

The town accountant submitted treasury warrant '#9 showing
a expenditure of ~4, ~-~ ~96.82 Voted,warrant approved as read and'
Roger Dunham requested permission to temporarily pile
sOme lumber on the town's land at the cliff,while taking down
'a building. It was voted to grant the request.
Frank Worth submitted the Public W~lfare monthly report.
Chief Mooney and patroilman Everett Lamb conferred With
the board relative' to matters pertaining to the police dept.
President D~.niel Tyler ~r.of the Mass.Selectmens Assoc.
wrote to the board urging their' sUpport of a bDll to flo~.~ a
$15,000,000 bond issue for the development,operation of the
"Creat port of Boston." He reminded the board that Boston ha.,
served as a ~ocal p0imt for New E~gland shipping for many years
and saves some two millions to shippers by means of its water-
borne traffic and urged that local senator and representative
be urged to suppo,rt this bill of so vital .~mportance.
It was voted to contact the above legislators and request
their support of this bill.

for the purpose of appointing ballot clerks and tellers for the

paper requesting the support ~f the voters for the present
