Hill: "Yes, the library;, under Schools and Libraries, I want to say that I am very heartily in favor of it. I believe that,the Town should do everything ~-~ possible to aid and carry on the library. It is a very useful institution but I do not approve of the way that it has been carried on; the disorder making it impossible to use it as it should be used ~'. There has been an'article ~n the Warrant for several years past on Baxter Road and perhaps a lot of you do not know where Baxter Road is but I finally found out where Baxter Road ends. Baxter Road ends at.the lighthouse; it goes Just out of,.::::,, the village of 'Sconset. ,-For the past three years there has been an appropriation of money made towards the building of that road and the Committee thought that 02,500~ under conditions, would take it a little further and in some future years it may,be finished." Mr. Coffin: "The Chairman's statement is correct. We are : asking for the appropriation of the full amount and they cut us down ~l,O00.
