The Meeting was called to order, with all Members present.
Th$ Tovm Accountant presented Warrant #35 amo~un~ing~to $2°25.Vv.
Paul Hoadley was granted permission~ to keep hens at his
property on North Liberty Street.
Mr. Joseph Patricio made application to keep hens at
South Water Street. The Board took the same under consideration
and will inspect said property.
Notice was received from the Department of Public Works
relative'to the Chapter 90 expenditures.
Co.~unicatton~was received f~om the Public Utilities
relative to the Steamboat Service.
~ The monthly report of July was received from the Police
Department.
Notice was~received ~rom the Tov~ Clerk of'the resignation
of John L. Hardy as selectman as of September l, 1942.
Permission was granted to Russell Pemberton to erect a
staging~on Hussey Street on the Crocker house.
. Mr. George Haddon asked that he be granted leave of
absence in the event that he was accepted in the Naval Reserves.
The Me~ting adjourned at 9:10 PM.
