The Meeting was called to order by the Chairmanwith all
Members present.
The Tovm Accountant presented VJarrant #31 amounting to
$9,922.05, the same was voted to be paid as read.
The monthly report of the WPA office was received.
A petition signed by 50 tax payers was sent to the Board
asking that a No-Parking Sign be placed in front of the
Pacific~Club. It was voted that the same be tabled.
Manuel Barboza was granted permission to hold a dance in
Legion Hall 9 - I August 13.
Mr. Hardy reported that he had called Mr. Wall of the
Steamboat Company relative to the possibility of the taking
of a third boat. Mr. Wall said that to the best of his
knowledge no such action was contemplated and that he would
fight same.
It was voted to send a letter to the Governor requesting
that he should check up on the~boat situation.
It was voted to request Mr. Tice to place a no-Parking
sign on Union Street beyond the second bend and paint a
white b~d on the polecat the foot of stone alley.
The Board voted to request Mr. Tice to fill out the form
to release the tar for Polpis Road, and also voted to notify
Mr. Tice to save asphalt on hand for repairs on roads for
another 'year in the Town limits.
The Meeting adjourned at 8:40 PM.
