A co~unication was received from Director Ralph H. Osborn oT th~ ~;larine Fisheries stating that it was his intention to appoint Charles Grant as Fish Warden. 'A request.was received from Killen Bros. Inc. ~ ~he follov~dng be appointed as Public Weighers and Surveyors of wood. Annie L. Duce John R. ~illen ~. B. Thompson The same were appointed. An application was received from Irving E. Sandsbury to erect a one car garage on 9 Eagle Lane, the same having been approved by bhe~Fire Chief, was grant'ed. Two letters were received from George A. Lewis relative to release from Barnstable House of Correction. The Beard expressed their opinion that they would like to get a communica- tion from Sheriff Crocker. An aPPlication was received from Pauline G. ~"~alony for an all-alcoholic Beverage License for the ocean House Seasonal, the same to take effect immediately. An application was received from VAn. l~'~.athison to erect a garage at 4 Pine 'Street, the same ha~.~ng been approved by the Fire Chief was granted. An application from Kenneth W. Holdgat~, permanent intimi- rant Police Officer for a leave of absence from the Police De- partment for the duration t5 enter the armed forces. The same was granted.
