In.~the name of the Commonwealth of ~assachusetts' you are di-|
rected~to notify the inhabitants of the Town of Nantucket, qual-!
ified to v6te in Tov~n Affairs,' to meet at the Legion Hall in said
Nantucket, on Tuesday, J%u~e 9th, at ~:30 o'clock in th~ afternoons,
then and there' to-act on the following articles:
And to act on and transact all business that may arise in
relation to the foregoing articles.
Article I - To receive reports from committees which shall
come before this meeting.
Article 2 - To see if the Tova~ will vote to release Mr. Paul
Klingelfuss from his lease of the bathing beach.
Article 3 - To see what action the Town will take regarding
the bathing beach property.
And ~ou are directed to serve this warrant by posting a copy
of the same at the corner of Main and Federal Streets and in the
Post Office at Siasconset, and by publishing the same. in,The
Inquirer and Mirror, at least seven days before the dante of said
me e ting.
Hereof fail not, and make due return of this warrant, with
your doings thereon, to the ToYaa Clerk, at the time and place of
meeting, as aforesaid.

The Finance Committee of the ToE of Nantucket met in the
American Legion Hall Tuesday evening and held public hearings on
the articles in the Warrant for Special Tovm Meeting to be held
June 9th, and made the following recommendations.

To receive reports from committees which shall come before
this meeting.
We recommend~ that reports of committees be received.
ARTICLE II
To See if the Tova~.wili vote' to release ~,tr. Paul Klingelfuss
from his lease of the Bathing Beach.
We recommend that the' Town release M.~. Paul Klingelfuss from
his lease of the Bathing Beach and we further recommend that the
Board of Selectmen be authorized to negotiate this release.
ARTICLE III
To see what action t~e Town Will take~ regarding the Bathing
Beach Property. ,' ~,,
We recommend that the Selectmen be authorized to negotiate
a lease or rental of the Bathing Beach Property upon release
of Mr. Paul Klingelfuss from his present contract.
