sPECIAL TOWN MEETING

Nantucket,' ss. .' ~
To either of the Constables of the~Town of
Nantucket, greeting:
'~- In the name of the Comm0nwealt~ of Massachusetts
you are directed to notify the inhabitants of the
Town of Nantucket, qualified to vote in Town Affairs,
to meet at Dhe Dreamland Theatre in said Nantucket,
on Monday, -December 29, at V:30 o'clock in the after-
noon, then an~ there to act on the following articles:
Article 5-' To choose a Moderator t~ preside at
said meeting. ,,
Article 2- To receive reports from committees
which shall come before this°meeting.
Article 3.--To see if the Town will vote to ~t~ansfe:r
from.the Excess and Deficiency. Account a sum not to
exceed Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000), the same to be
used to purchase equipment and supplies for Nantucket
Public Safety.
And to act on and transact all business that may
~rlse'in relation to the foregoing articles. .~-
And you are directed to serve this warrant by
posting a copy of the same at the corner of Main and
Federal Streets, in the Post Office Siasconset, and
{ '~, by publishing the same in The :Inquiror and Mirror,~ at least-seven days before the date of said meeting.
Hereof fail not, and make due return of. this'
warrant, with your doings thereon, to the Town Clerk,

Pursuant to the foregoing warrant, I have notified
the inhabitants of the Town of Nantucket qualified to
vote in Town Affairs, to meet at the time and place
and for the purposes within mentioned, by posting and
publishing the same as herein directed seven days be-
fore the date of said meeting.
