Instructions ;o voters and penalty cards were posted in the booths. · , The following ballot~clerks were sworn in:- Ira W.Appl~ton, ~dward P.Tice,WilliamBarrett,and Charles Bart. ..... '~ ~. ....... The ballots in three packages said to contain 2305 bfficial ballots were delivered to the ballot clerks and their hec~ipt taken therefor.  The ballot box was then opened for public inspection. t was examin~ed~by Irving A.Soverino,Edward P.Tice,Arthur R. ~a~lwitz,Charles C.Barr,Franklin S.Chadwick,William H.Barrett ~and Wesley A.Fordyce,fou~d'to be empty.
