The meeting came' to order ~t 8P,~I 'all members of the Board being
present. ' :
~'arrant No. 37 totalling $22,446 ~12 was presented by To{vn Acct.
Barrett and checked and approved by the Board.
' Mtn'utes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Bias on furnishing fue~i oil to town and county bldgs were re-
ceived and~opened as follows:
Sherburne Oil Co'.17.95¢ per gal. Island Set. Co. .17¢ per ga
Voted'that the contract be awarded the lowest'bidder the
Island Service Co.
Mr. Wm. C. Browning wrote Xthe Board setting forth his views that
seining and dragging by commercail fishing boats was the
cause of the lac{~of sports fishing from the sho,~e.'Inas-
~ much as we understood that the Division of Marine Fisheries
is to hold some hearingson this subjec, t this matter wash

Mr. ,Walter J. GloWacki was granted a renewal of his Junk Dealers
license', at Old South Rd. Nantucket blass.

Gas & Elec. Co. was voted approved, no hearing being necessa~
A' letter was ,'received' from Mr. Frank Look for the Steamship Auth/
'in reply tO our letter to the authority, stating,that the~
Nantucket' was approved by the C.G. and that the authority
to run or not run was with the Capt.
The DAR asked ~he Board to proclaim 'week l~th to 24th as Con-
stitution Week and same was so voted.
Voted'that future-meeting effective next week until further notice will start at 7.30
The Board was in receipt of bill for printing of m~ps from Town
Crier and inasmuch as we had written advising that we were
rejecting same because they did not comply with the samples
M~. Indio who was present was asked if th.%s bill was hi~
reply. He stated it was that he felt the matter was a persom
one, that ~the maps as submitted were ,satisfactory for the
use intended and that counsel had advised him that he could
collect for same."
There being no further business the Board went into executive
session an,d,adj.at 10 PM.
Executive'Sessi~n: Island Home discussed voted to have Mt.Frank
Bartlett look at heating plaint, and radiators.
Voted to'~,~ose comfort stations effective Suhday.
