'8.25 PM having, been preceded by a County Commzssioners
Meeting all members of the Board being present. ,
Minutes'of the previous meeting Were read and approved;
warrant No."36, tg'talling '$~19,098.02 wa~',Pres~te'd b~ Town'A~ct.
= Barrett and checked and approved,by the Board.
Mr. Rus's'ell Pope in behalf of the 300th committee' requested permii
for a parade on Sat. at 2.30 PM and same was. voted approved,
Mr. Jaeckle was present and discussed w.~_th the Bo~.rd the matte'r.
of the reque, st for a Stop sign on Gay street, ii'was felt
that ,having a stop sign on Gay street a hill would ,be poor
policy and cause trouble and that a Stop sign on Westminste
in the winter when school was in session was not needed due
to the small amount of traffic. Pelt' that additional sl0w
or School signs would answer the purpose. ,
Contracts for the next 6 months fok Ch. 90 ~aintenance were re-
received by the Board from the DPW signed and approved.
The Yacht club was granied permission to' store their floats
at
the childrens beach as in previous years.
A report' on the' Nantucket display at 'the Eastern States ~Expositon
at Springfield was received and filed.,
There bein~ no furthe'r business the Board went into executive
session and adj at 9.50 PM.
