Warrant No. 7~-totalling 5,922~12 wa~presented by~ Town Acct.
Barrett and checked and approved by the Board.
Minutes of the previous mee!ing were read and approved.
Bids were received and opened as follows on the printing'of
cards for the Public Relations committee as follows:
Nant. Town Crier: 10,000 cards as specified 54.50
15,000 " " "- 73.50
Inquirer and Mirror 10,000" " " 43.00
15,000 " , " " 57.00
On motion duly m~de and'seceded it was ~voted that the job
be awarded to the lowest bidder the Inquirer and Mirror for the
amount of 15,000 cards at 57.00.
A copy of a letter to the Sewer Commission from Weston and Samp-
son Engineers outlining the necessary steps to reconstrhct
the joints in the force main and estimating the cost at
130,000 Was presented~and read for the information of the'
Board.
Mr. Myles Reis was granted a permit to move a bldg. f~om Atlantic
Ave. to Spr.ing street.
A letter was received ~ro~ Mr. Richard 'Colgate authorizing us
to open Sesachacha pond this year in the same 'spot as in
previous years. It was voted"to write Mr. Wilbour of the ,
Dept. of Conservation asking if. he could advise us as to
the amount of times a year the pond might have to be o
if We were to try and use same for an Oyster project so
that we could 'take the matter up further if necessary with
Mr. Colgate. ,
A letter ~as received from Senato~ Kennedy enclosing a lette~
from CAA advising that funds for the Nant. Airport Control
tower had been encluded in iheir request for funds for
the fiscal ~ear starting 1 JUly 1959
The Senior girl scout troop was granted a permit for
hop at VFW hall on Friday the 27th from 8 to 11 PM.

Mr' Dennis Dias was granted a permit to operate a Roller Skating
rink on Surfside aoad, weekdays only. ~.
The Bo~rd was in receipt of the resig~ation'of Mr. Albert L. Silv
from the Finance Committee and place on file.
Tbere~being' no further business the Board Went'into executive
sessxon to discuss welfare matters and adj. at 10 PM.
Welfare:.Inez Pickett Welfa~ Case, applicant ~nd son, no income.
no eligibility for ADC or Unemployment Comp. Voted
approve weekly grant of $38.50. ,

advise him that we understand he has no water athis res-
idence'and to have same repaired at once and advise us,
