The meeting came to order at 7.30 PM all member's of the Board,
being present .... ,
Warrant Nb.'51, totalling $%7,358.72 was presented by Town Ac~t
.Barrett and checked-and approved by the Board.
Minu~'e's of the previous meeting were read and,approved.
It was voted to advertise for bids'for the collection of rubbis',
at various town and county bldgs on a,contract basis for
' the year 1959. Bids to be in the hands of the Board by
next Tuesday the 23rd at 7.30 PM.
A letter was received from Dorothy D. 'Robbins;~ADC and OAA
Jr. Clerk and Typist advising that she was resigning as
of the 31st of Dec. 58 and placed on,file.
An application was received from Ant6ne John Souza for a re-
newal of his wine and malt package~store license" and voted
to take the course prescribed by law.
It was voted to,have our meeting which would ordiniarily come
on new years day on 31 Dec. 1958 at 4PM.
Mr. Frank-Ar'mstrong of the Naval Facility was granted a p~rmit
to hold a dance ht the Grange Hall of Fri from 8 to 1 he
'to, furnish,a Sp. Police officer satisfactory to Chief Howes
The Board were a~lvised that the Public Information'officer at
Otis Air Force base wished to come before the Board at
, some meeting and explaint some air exercises that would be
held after the 1st of'the, year probably in Feb. He was ad-
vised that any ,Thurs. meeting night would be' an appropriate
time.
Mr. Robert B. Bl~air announced that due to personal r~asons he ~
,was submitting his_resignation from the Board and would not
~' be a candidtate for reelection.
There being no further business the Board went into executive,'
session to discuss welfare matters and adj. at 10 PM.

The matter of sanding of streets was brought
, up and it was
,' voted that we write the Supt. of streets'on this and'also
compose a notice for insertion in the local papers realative
to,cars,parked on the streets~and request the Chief of Polic
to place form tag requests in same asking owners to remove
,,them during snow storms. ,,
