.The'meeting came to order at 7.30 PM all members of the Board
being present.'
warrant No. 47, .t~talling $12,374.31 was presented by Town Acct.
Barrett and checked and approved by the Board.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
A letter was received from the School Committee enclosing a
resolution relative to the use of the present academy
hill building for a town and county office building
and placed on file.
A l~tter was received from the DPW advising that they had set
up for us under Ch. 90 the total amount'of $15,000 and
asking information as to where we wanted to divide it
as to 'new const, and maintenance. It was voted to advise
that we would want 11,000 on nef~nconstruction and 4,000
on, maintenance.
The Board also discussed the use of Ch. _90 funds on sidei
{~alks and bicycle paths and it was the sense of the race-
'i:' ting that we take this matter up with the .commissioners
at the annual meeting in Boston on the 10th.
A letter was received from Wm. Winslow, shellfish warden ad-
vising that as of that date none of the seed scallops
which had been marked had turned up.
It was noted that we had received a check of $50.00 from ih.e
state to reimbusrse us for the purchase of plastic screen-
ing. 5
A form ~:for signatures of the Board was received from the office
of the Secy.-of state relafive to the incorporators of
The Madaket Conservation Asso. Inc. and signed and app-
roved.
An application~was received from George C. and Lilika Anast'os
for renewal of- the all alcoholic beverage license of the
Spa Cafe ~and voted to take the course prescribed by.law.
After discussion it was voted to authorize Eng. Barrett to pro-
ceed with work necessary to locate the bounds and establis]
the layout of Cambridge'and Massoit road.
Mr. 3Oseph Cahoon was granted a soft drink, milk and ice cream'
license and a small'store he ~s opening at his premises
blilestone ,Road, Siasconset. :
A letter was received from Rep. Mooney relative to a park for
use at the 300th anniversary celebration and suggesting
that the Jetties Beach area be developed.' Same was voted
referred to the PlanningCBoard'for information as to wh-
, ether they had any plans or information on this subject.
Mr. Arthur Davis in beha~lf of the local CAP Squadron was granted
use of the C.D.-rooms for installation of zxradio equipmen~
of the squadron. The C.D. director being in accord with
