Barrett "and checked and 'approved by the Board.. Minutes of the previous,meeting were r~ad and aPproved. The By'ton L. Sylvaro Post American Legion was, granted a permit to Parade under arms on Veterans day 11 Nov. 1958. Mr. Raymond Margeson ~as present and 'stated to the Board that' the town clerk had advised him, that he would not 'be eli- gible to,register'fo vote{until the 24th of Nov. after some discussion it was voted to approve the granting of a commercial scallop license to Mr. Margeson. The Board also discussed 'with Supt. of Streets 'Jaeckle the suggestions made in a letter to the Board by Mrs Raynor Gardiner and it was the sense of the 'meeting that .we should look at the areas suggested sometime before town .meeting, with. the Supt. of streets. Supt. Jaeckle also suggested that he felt it would be practical' and also ~ helpful to have the area at the 'junction of Milestone Rd. Lower Orange St., Sparks Avenue and Old South Road, made a rotary traffic this matter was discussed and it was agreed that it seemed like a good project. Mr. Jaeckle stated that it might be possible _to get the state to bear a portion if-not all~of the cost of same. Mr. Chs. S~yle mentioned'ih'at bushe~ Were growing out into -the sidewalk on Prancis St., from the Christman property and Supt. Jaeckle stated that he would look into the matter' · ,," · - Mr. Jobn Walsh was~granted a 3rd class auto junk license. Town 'Clerk Coffin presented ~he official reports of the recent election for-signatures of the Board and forwarding to the Secretary of States Office, On recommendation' of~C~ief Howes, Mr. George Rezendes was appointed a Special Police officer. Mr. John C. 'McGlinn et al dba The Hub was granted a common Vici, soft drink.and ice cream license. ~ ~- 'y There being ~no further business th~ meeting adjourned at 9.15
