Warrant No. 38, totalling $37,822.07' was' p~es6'nted by'Town Acct.
Barrett and checked and the
approved
by
Board.
Minutes Of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Applications for pole locations- were received from the Gas"&: Elec
and Tel and Tel as follows:
Western Ave. and School streets Sconset, No hearing necessar
OKd.
Bartlet't Rd. One pole in from Surfside Rd. notices and heart:
necessary:
A request was received from the Yacht Club for permission to store
their floats'~on the childrens beach for the winter season
and voted approved. ' ,
A letter was received from V2~gina Wiling protesti, ng the resurfac]
of the Quidnet Road and also from John Haas and placed on fil
A request from Elms Loins of Flora St. for rubbish barrels on
said street to take care of a complaint of liquor bottles
on her lawn was taken under advisement.
It was voted to authorize the Water Co. to install a h~drant on
Cliff Rd. near Crooked lane, the location having been checked
and approved by the Fire Chief.
It was voted to have the Supt. of streets have the parking area
at Dreamland theatre painted in berths as formally.
There being no further business the Board went .into executive
session to discuss welfare matters and adjourned at 9.00 PM.
