The me'ting Came to order at 8P~ ail members of the Board b'eing~
present;~i~ ,,
War~ant No. 37 totalling $21~,1~2.46 was presented by Town Acct.
Barrett and checked and approved by the Board;
Minutes of the previous meeting were read 'and approved.
Letters were ~eceived f~om various Quidnet property owners
p~otesting the paving of Quidnet road and placed on file.
An application from the T~i * Tel and the Nant. Gas and ~lec~
Co. for pole locations on Squam road West side Quidnet end
.was set for hearing on the 25th.
A letter was. received from the Madaket :Oonservation Asso in-
~quiring as to.any information received from the DPW relative'
to? the Broad Creek crossing area, as none had been received
it was voted to so advise.
A notice was ~eceived from the State Bamtd Of.plumbers advising
that a Mr. Cunningham would be on the island next.Wed.~to
meetim with the Board relative to the establishment of a
plumbing code and it was voted to set up a special meeting,
for Wed. at 7.30 and invitethe local plumbers ~o be present.
An application was received from Dr. Robert White advising that
he had purchased the Ice Cream truck business of Kermit
Roosevelt and requesting the same type of license be issued
to him, same was voted approved on the same conditions as
previously imposed ie; no sales on Main st in town or~sconset
nor withing 100 yds of establishments having ice'cream lic-
enses. , ~.
There being no further business the meeting adj. 'at 8,~5 PM with
the notation that starting next week the regular meetings
would start at 7.30 PM.
