Pro Tem. '' Warrant. No. 5','.~totalli~g $11,091.68 was pr'esented by Town Acct. Barrett and checked and approved by the Board. Mr.' Roy,True was present and spoke relative to emergency t~ns- portation to the hospital in the event of a disaster of any' kind on the island, ,stated that the hospital was not equippe¢ to handle.transportation of litter cases in such an event . and that arrangemtns should be made with the C.D. and~or Police department.; also suggested that inasmuch as Mr. Des- rocher is a hospital employee that a.rrangements should be made for'someone to take his duties in the event he was on call at the hospital. ', A letter was received from the American Legion relative to actio by Chief Bartlett in doing away with the Legion Fire, and Police patrol and it was voted [o ask Chief Bartlett to meet with us at our ,next meeting to disucss this matter. A letter was received from the Airport Commission requesting that the old sconset truck be turned over to the airport for use. at this facility, and it was suggested that Cheil Bartlett discuss this matter with us at the same time. The Board voted to request an additional amount of $9,070.72' from the state from Ch. 718 funds to be used as out,share of the additional cost of the Monomoy Rd. a Ch. 90 pr6ject. The legion.40 & 8 were granted ~a permit for a dance at Legion Hall on 21 Feb. from 9 to 1. Mr. Leoh F..Moyniban dba Monument Sq. grocery was grahted a re- newal'of 'his Ice Cream license. Mrs Laura Pease was granted a renewal of her Bathing Beach'Bus Line.permit to be exercised over'the same routeas in previous years. There~being no further business the meeting adjourned at 8.23½PM.
