17 October 1957 --- 7.30 PM
Present: Mr. Barrett, Glidden 'and'Hardy
Absent: Mr. Blair and Pease
Mr. Hardy served as Ch?. Pro Tem in the absence of Mr. Pease
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Warrant No. 42 totalling $11,802~53 was p~esented by Town Acct.
Barrett and checked_and approved by the Board.
The Board wen~ over the regulations for t~he taki~ng of Scaliops
for commercial use for the 1957-58 season and voted that
same be approved'as printed ( see copy attached hereto and
made a part of this~record). It was also voted that same
be posted in five public places as p=ovided by law.and a
copy sent to the Division of Marine Pisheries.
An application for a p01e loc'ation of Commercial street was
received from the Nant. Gas & Elec. Co. and the date for
hearing set for 24 Oct. 1957 at 7.30 PM.
A copy of the notice requesting bids on the paying-of'Milk St.
extension as put out by the D.P.W. was received and placed
on file, the bid date being 22 Oct. 1957. .
M~[ Arthur'Desrocher, C. D.'Director presented a list of things
needed for said dept. and the o~der for same was approved-.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned at 7.45 ~PM
