Mr. Robert T.'Curri&'was present anddiscussed With the Board
the matter of conditions at the Jetties Beach, Mr. Currie
stated that in view of the difficulties encountered this
season and the fact that the Board wge going to have.to
take some action to clarify its rights to lease a portion
of the beach that he did not feel that he could sign a~
lease for a three year period. Inasmuch as it appeared
that if the matter was clarified that the Board would
have had to take some action as regards any lease then
in existance it was Voted that Mr. Currie be allowed
to keep his equipment on the premises until some deci-
was made. The Board discussed with Mr. Currie the matter
of a division of the beach proper and Mr. Currie said
that in his opinion a beach area about 100 yds wide
would be sufficient for the use of a lessee. It was
pointed out that the mere fact that authorization might
be obtained to lease a portion of the beach would not
make same private in the sense that anyone who wanted
to avail themselves of the facilities could be barred,
but that the area would be set up so that the lessee
might control a part of the beach and the'town the re-
