Warrant No. 45 t~tallfng $9'~,606.17 was p~esented' by Town A0ct. Barrett and checked and approved by ~the Board. Minutes Of the ~ previous meeting were read a~d approved. Mr. Jaeckle brought up a request of the Garden Club ~to place a low split rail fence around the triangle on Sankaty Ave and same was approved. Mr. Robert Mo~ney, the Rep. elect was present'and stated tha't he wished to cooperate in any way possible with the Board and would advise the Secy. of his address and phone. A letter from the DPW on a' bill to al~0w t~wns to borrow to finance road construction was received and filed. The Amer. Leg. post was~ granted a permit to parade under arms on l~ Nov. The Leg. Aux. was granted a p~rmit for a poppy day on l0 Nov. }~rs Burnham Dell Ch. of the March of~Dimes drive was granted a permit to hold the annual drive in Jauuaz~y. The Board discussed the matter of No. parking on,S. Water street from Cambridge to Main itdbeing suggested that this be,changed to one hour during the winter, same was referred to the Police dept. for there comments. Benj. Baxter was granted a permit to exceed the Wt. limits · ~in trensporting asphalt f~omoth~ ,G~ 'p~ant 5o~S~raight ~harf. A prospectus was received -from Mowhawk Airlines Inc. relative to a pet. for increased service and placed on fileo A letter Was received from the ABCC advising that the populati as regards annual licenses was and is set by the annual census. ,, There being no further business the meeting adj. at 9.15 PM.
