cation at the mon~nt to an ~de~g~o~d cable having
bee~ p~esented by ~e ~ele~one co. and abutters notified,
was. approved.
A lette~ was ~ecei~d f~om the DPW notifying that the annual
co~ty hea~ing on roads would be held on F~i. A~. l~th
at 10 AM.
The Board discussed the inspection made of the town bain and
voted to request Supt. Jaeckle to d~aw up some s
to cover the matters we had talked about du~ing the inspec-
tion.
Hr. Coffin reported that holes still existed in Sconset where
posts had been removed by the fire dept. and it was voted
to advise the Fire Chief to take care of this matter.
Mr. Burgess reported that a sign at the Yacht club stated "no
bicycles allowed thts~side of street" it was voted to advise
the club that this was an illegal sign.
An application for a change~of location of the liquor'license
of the Moby Dick was received and.voted to take the course
prescribed by law, the Board assenting to the continuance of
business at the new location, Main bldg~of the Sconset Inn.
pending formal advertising and approval.
Town Counsel Sanguinet~i was~present and met with the Bsard in
executive session to discuss the matter of the case of
Thurston vs the Town in the matter of garbage collection,
.after discussion it was voted that the applications of '.
Mr. Albert Johnsen Sr. and Mr. Nathan Thurston for permits
to Collect garbage be denied. The reason fo~ denial being
that the Board felt that two collectors had been sufficient
for years to take care of all garbage in a satisfactorT
manner and still were.
