County Commissioners meeting, all members of the Board being

Barrett and checked and approved by the Board.
Minutes of the previous meeting were approved.
Mr. Theodore Gurley, Of Hulbert Ave and Easton St. was present
and m~de various suggestions to the Board as regards
traffic,~ as all of the matters mentioned were things which
the Board had discuseed from time to time no action was
taken. Suggestions were', make lower York st. one way from
W to E; Have no parking on one side of Main street from
Pine to Pleasant; Put curb on Wedding parties driving aroUng
town with holms blowing and take some action as regsrds the
crowds at the movies for 2nd shows.
Town Counsel Sanguinetti met with the Board with reference to the
hearing to be held on Mort. 6 Aug. on the Mandamus petition
of M~. Nathan Thurston..
It was voted to request M~. Gilbert Burchell Jr. who takes care
of various beaches to clean the beach at the end of Je~fers~l
Ave.
Afte~ discussion and a letter from ~he Supt. of Streets outlining
~extrao~dina~y expenses he had had this spring for sidea~k
repairs it was voted to request the Finance Committee to
transfer $1~00 to sidewalk repairs and $~00.00 to traffic
markings from the Reserve Fund.
A'letter was received from Supt. of streets'~aeckle advising that
the annual county meeting would be held on Fri the l?th and
suggesting that we request the same matters as last year ~
inasmuch as none of the things then requested had been done.
It was voted to meet at'the Town Barn on Friday a~ A with the Supt
of streets, M~. Putterick and members o£ the Tree Commission
to look over same for necessax~y repairs.
