The meeting came to ~rder at '7.30 PM all members b~ing pre-
sent but ~. Pease. ~ ~ -~ ~
Mr. Ha~dy served as Ch~'' Pro Tem.- ~

Bar~ett and checked~ and approved by the Board.
Minutes of ~e p~evious meeting were ~ead and ap~oved~
Shellfish Wa~de~~ Winslow and A~'stJ F~ancis we~e p~eseng'~nd
~eported on a survey they had made of~ the closed a~ea off of
Beachside., the ~epo~t indicated that the area contained
roughly a 50-50 portion of seed and adult scallop stock.
'After discussion~it wa~ voted .to have' the warden c~ontaCt M~.
Turne~ Marine Biologist at Woods Hole and request him to make
a su~vey~ o~the area, with ~efe~ence to the question of
disputed seed.
M~. Wm. Byron Snow of the Fishe~mens ASSO~also~apoea~ed on
this matter and stated his organization was in favor of a
s~rv~y. ~ ~ ~'
~,~. Mitchell Todd appearedfor the C0~t;'Co~mittee'of the
New Hospital. and explained~to the Board that it might be
necessary in connection with the Const. of the hosp.~to
request permission to disturb 'the-surface'of Vesper Lane
to, install water services, in the event other methods cannot
be arranged. "stated he just wanted to advise the board
the~atter for future reference. -. ~ ~ ~.
~e~Board met as county c0~issi0ners with ~lerk Fo~dyc~e,
and To~m .~ounsel Sanguinetti and discussed the matter~ of
lower pleasant street, the votes on same appearing in the
county records4 .... ~ ~ ~
Mr. ~ardy discussed with t he'Board~ 9he matger of sdggested
improvements at the'Adacemy Hill school~but no action vas
taken at this time. . ..... ~ ~
