Barrett and checked and approved by the Board. ,'
~Iinutes of the previous meeting were Waived inasmuch as due
to a lack of quorum no 'official meeting was held.
R~sidents of Nobadee'r Way were pres~'nt and[~inq~ired'a~'to
its status.'A te~phone call to Y~. Barrett brought forth the
information that'the plan would be completed for,the next
County Con,missioners meeting and that after that the repair
work could 'go -forward ~ -"" - "' '
Warden Winslow rsported that'he ~ad ~plant~d seed'quahogs
Cambridge' St. in ~,~adaket Harbor aprox 100 yds wide and had
posted same as a oolluted shellfish area.
Applications for the position of Assr iaellfzsh Wardsn f~r
the Scallop season were received from Elwyn Francis Sr. and
Arthur ~IcCleave. No action was taken on this matter at this
time.
'~ffr. Walter Huffish was granted perm?lesion to move a ~ldg.~'
from t~e Yackt Club to Bartlett Rd. on Sunday, he to notify' ,
the Police dept. before,m~ving. .,
The dump Caretal~e~ advised tha~ additional bulldo~.e'r, S'ervices
were needed and that he would-need aprox ~50.00 in order, to
have this.work done. It was voted to authorize thi~ amount
to be taken from the Selectmens Acct. for this purpose., and
further to visit the dump on Fri. morning at 10 A~.
'An appl~c~'tion was received from residents in the area of
Green Street requesting that ,this be changed to Green Lane
the~ Board was in favor ,of this suggestion and the matter
was carried forward to the next county meeting.
A,iett~r was received from the Town Counsel on the status of
the so-called Brinton Rd.~in Sconset and cont. 'to the next
county me e ting. , ~. ~ ~
The-matter of the location of a drive Up and'deposi'~~ ~ail Box
was discussed and-the Board'decided to view the location after
the meeting,~ Same v~s done and it was voted to. approve a
location at the f&o~her of N. Union-St., and lower Pearl 'street's.
on ~,earl"This location being accessable, under' a ' street ,light
and not necessitating the loss of any 'parking space. ..
Ch.-Pease reported that he had,conferred with'S~hool Officials':
relative to Westminster St. in front~ of the Academy, Hill
and that it had been suggested that the street could be widened
in front of the school by moving the fence back. This ~n~tter is
to be looked into more fully.

session to discuss a-welfare matter and adj. at 9.20 PM.
Welfare: ,Approval of a Hospl bill o~ one ~[rs Nickerson was~OKd.
