The meeting came to Order 'at 8.05 PM alZ members of the'Board_

Acct. Barrett and checked and approved by the Board.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read ~and approved'.,
Mr. Paul Cabral was ~grauted ~a permit for a dance at Legion~'
Hall~ on Sat ~T Aug. from 8 to l~ · ~,
Barn StaEes were' Eranted a~r~it for a ~Folk si~ging concert
on Sunday e veuing~the 28th. .. -_ '~, ,, ~ ,.~
Nfs ~auchester of the New Ocean House requested an area iu
front of the Hotel entrance marked off for no parking so
that taxies and cars bringing ~guests and leaving could have
access for loading etc. Same was voted approved.-
T~own Counsel sanguinteei reported on the law relative to'
fires and incinerators ~and it was voted to have the Fire Chief
draw up some suggested regulations and meet with us next week
to go over same. , ,~ ~
Mr. Coffin discuss, ed"the matter of obstruction~s Caused by
gas tanks and oil barrells in a~ way in Scouset and it was ~vote~
to have the Fire Chief confer ~with us on this motter also.
The DPW requested the Board approved the 'extehsion of the~~
coutramt of Walter Glowacki' on the Con~t. of Lower pleasant ,
street to 15 Sept.~and it was so voted. ~ .
