The. meeting came to order at 8PN ali members 8f the Board
b e lng pre sent.
Warrant ~No. 25 totalling $11,~57.59 was presented by 'Town Acct.
Barrett and checked and approved by the Board.
Ninu~t~s of the previous meeting were read and approved.
The signed coutra~t for our file on the pu~chse of the new
Fi~e truck was received from American LaF~ance Co.
The matter of the appointment to the airport 0ommission to fill
the unexpired te~m of Nr. Howard U. Chase who had resigned was
taken up, two applications'being received Harrison GoEnan and
Walter F. Glowackl, on motion made and seconded Mm.' Go,man was
appointed to this commission to fill the unexpi~ed terra.
The matter of the purchase of supplies at'the Sconset 0omfort
Station was discussed it ,being noted that some supplies had'
been pu~chased~f~om a summe~ retail sto~e with a high mark up,
was voted to w~ite the custodian,that supplies should be
obtained thmough the Nant. Comfort station where possible and
where not purchased from a less expensive source.
The following license~ and peEnits were applied for and g~anted

A letter was received from the Planning Board with thei~ ~e-
commendations as to the sidewalk at the new hight school..
The matter Of the Committee studying the facilitie~ at the
Jetties Bathing BeachI was referred to the attention of the
Planning Board. ,
The application of straighb Wharf Theatr~ f~r a 'D~mit to.give
away malt beverages duming intermissions of their summer plays
was considered and denied.
It was voted to move the Bathing Beach Busses f~om in front
of the Library to Broad street alongside the Sanfo~d House
effective Sat. ~ ·
It was voted that'the regulations governing sightseeinE bu'sses
be the same .as last season and that the operators and the Plice
dept. be so notified.
It was voted that Ash street be made no Parking on the S. Side.
It was voted that the Life Guards at the vamious beaches start-
work Wednesday the 29th.
It was voted that wlth =efe~e6ce to the paving of Hoicks Hollow
Rd. that same be done with a one coat job .
