Barrett and checked and approved by the Board. Ninu~t~s of the previous meeting were read and approved. The signed coutra~t for our file on the pu~chse of the new Fi~e truck was received from American LaF~ance Co. The matter of the appointment to the airport 0ommission to fill the unexpired te~m of Nr. Howard U. Chase who had resigned was taken up, two applications'being received Harrison GoEnan and Walter F. Glowackl, on motion made and seconded Mm.' Go,man was appointed to this commission to fill the unexpi~ed terra. The matter of the purchase of supplies at'the Sconset 0omfort Station was discussed it ,being noted that some supplies had' been pu~chased~f~om a summe~ retail sto~e with a high mark up, was voted to w~ite the custodian,that supplies should be obtained thmough the Nant. Comfort station where possible and where not purchased from a less expensive source. It was voted that Ash street be made no Parking on the S. Side. It was voted that the Life Guards at the vamious beaches start- work Wednesday the 29th.
