Barrett and checked and approved by the Board.
Minutes of the orevib~s meeting were read and approved'.
Sealed bids were submitted by th~,. Town crier and the I. nq.' &
rror for the printing of the Town'Report .and were as follows:

On motion made and seconded it.was voted to award same to the
lowest bidder the Town Crier. .
The American Lcgion Post was g~nted a"permit to h01d a

license for the sale ~of~Malt beverages only at 'tho Legion rooms
on this date lsubject to usual regulations as'to C!o~ing etc.

A letter was received from' the County personi~el board advising
that'thoy had voted salary rates for county registers of deeds,
treasurers and sheriffs as follows: Treas. lB00.00; Reg. Deeds~
$3400.001 Sheriff. 2,000 which is an increase of 100.00 each;
Same was forwarded to clerk of county, for inclusion in his ~budge

Mr. W. B. H. Snow was present and ~uggested for, the, Boards con-.
sideration the idea' of having a ,s~vey and chards,made ~of the
productiv~ ,and un-productive scallop~,areas~ same to be kept ~'::(.~-
currently to date and the areas buoyed off, so that a ~heck could
be kept with the,buyers of,the productivity of each area. The~'
end result being~mthat it might be able to deduce how many
scallops each area would ,support and to move seed to different
areas according to this-study. The Board felt this idea had
some merit and,that we would go along with same-in conj~ction
with-the shellfish warden'in the event same co~d be worked' out

advising'that we were opposed to'Senate Bill 199 which called
